At Wheatland Animal Hospital, we are dedicated to the best possible service to both you and your pets. In order to ensure the well being of your dog or cat, we offer a wide range of services including wellness visits and vaccination, parasite prevention programs, emergency and sick patient care, and surgical procedures. You play an important role in your pets' medical decisions and we strive to provide the best care to your animals by helping you understand all the available options. Our diagnostic capabilities range from in-house bloodwork and urinalysis, radiographs, endoscopy, and ultrasound. We also have outsourced laboratories and relationships with referral clinics to provide the best possible options for your pet. We believe animals enrich their owners' lives and we aim to strengthen the human-animal bond through compassionate, high-quality medicine for your pet and a low-stress, informative environment for you.

Dr. Roger Dupuis opened our doors in 1990, and now we have a 5-Doctor staff, with approximately 35 total employees. We are a progressive hospital, yet we remember our roots and the value of personal relationships and gentle bedside manner. We are only satisfied if you leave the visit comfortable with our work and informed about your pet. Our focus is on comprehensive care, treating the entire animal in all cases. We also stress the importance of preventive medicine, offering you the best in prevention from heartworm prevention to senior screening panels.

We are offering a puppy orientation class periodically. It is a one-time, complimentary session for anyone with a new dog. Topics covered will include socialization, behavioral advice, disease prevention, and anything else you need help with. It is fun and interactive, so if you want to discuss some important topics and meet some other new dog owners, please join us. The next session is Wednesday, February 24, from 6-7pm. Dogs are welcome, but it is not required to bring your new dog!
